The SG740 series meets the requirements of the National Standard GB38507-2020 of the People's Republic of China for the Limit Value of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) Content in Inks. It is a two liquid reactive ink, but it has a faster drying speed and higher production efficiency than other inks of the same type. It has high adhesion, moisture resistance, and solvent resistance to multiple materials, and is particularly suitable for printed POM (POLYACETAL), treated polyethylene Polypropylene and spray coating, ABS, polyacrylic acid, polyvinyl chloride, metals, anodized aluminum, and other materials.
Inks type: Quick drying two liquid reactive ink, using isocyanate hardener (ISOCYANATE).
Has high adhesion, suitable for treated polyethylene and polypropylene, treated POM (POLYACETAL) coatings (especially polychlorinated resin baking coatings), ABS, polyacrylic acid, polyvinyl chloride, nylon cloth, and other materials.
Semi smooth surface and high resistance to solvents (resistance varies with different colors)
It can be naturally dried or forced dried. Surface drying at room temperature (25 ℃) takes 40 minutes, complete drying takes 4 days at room temperature, and forced drying (80 ℃) takes 30 minutes. If processed on a metal surface, it is best to bake at 120 ℃× 20 minutes.
The mixing ratio of hardener (transparent) and ink (color) is 1:10, and stirring is necessary when mixing. The service life of the mixed ink is 6-8 hours. After aging, the ink will become sticky and unusable.
Use the following three solvents (10-15% by weight) to adjust the viscosity of the ink. Standard solvent T-926, slow drying solvent T-927, and slow drying agent T-980.
Clean the plate and other utensils with T-39 solvent (in accordance with the national GB 38508-2020 volatile organic compound content limit for cleaning agents).
The hardening agent of SG740 is very sensitive to humidity. Use it as soon as possible after opening the can. Sometimes foaming may occur during printing, and CARE50 additive (1-2%) can be added to prevent it. In addition, this series of inks is not suitable for mixed gold powder printing, as the mixed gold powder will undergo chemical reactions and form a gel.
